I was a Harry Potter fan before I was a woodturner, but a woodturner before I was a wand maker! What started off as making an elder wand (from real elder wood) on YouTube 5 years ago ended up being a mission of perfectionism.
Every wand brings new timbers and new challenges and I love to bring the audience along with me, explaining all my choices and techniques to end up with a wand that’s near identical to the resin prop!
I’m doing something not even Warner Brothers have done, and yes I even core the wands!
I love producing the videos, writing jokes, incorporating film clips, and getting up close with the satisfying woodworking. Something has worked as I now have over half a million followers, reaching millions of views monthly.
