Hi I’m Raquel Alguacil, known as RAk Metal, a passionate welder and metalwork educator from Padul, Granada. I balance my hands-on work at Blas Martín Carpintería Metálica with creating engaging content on social media, sharing techniques, tips, and experiences to make welding accessible to everyone.
My mission is to break stereotypes and highlight the role of women in a traditionally male-dominated field. I’ve participated in events like the welding battle in Barcelona, where I was the only female competitor, and collaborated with renowned brands such as Fronius España
I’m also the author of the children’s book “La pequeña soldadora,” aiming to inspire new generations to explore the fascinating world of metalwork.
